What We Offer

Clubs are a place where kids learn and grow while having fun

Trained professional staff provide positive adult mentors and role models. Nationally-recognized programs help young people succeed in school, stay healthy, learn important life skills, pursue interests in the arts and sports, and explore vocational choices.

We offer . . .
  • Fun!  Rule number one for almost everything that happens at the Club is that it must be fun.
  • A Safe Place:  The Club is a safe place where young people can come to enjoy themselves and their friends.
  • Opportunities:  Club members have the opportunity to learn, grow, give back to the community, discover their needs, set goals, and meet new friends.
  • A Full Schedule of Great Activities:  From simple games to leadership opportunities, we offer a wide range of activities. Contact us for more information about our programs.
  • Age-Appropriate Services:  Boys & Girls Clubs strive to meet the youth development needs in their communities. Stop by, meet our staff, and learn more about what we have to offer.

Great futures are started here - each and every day.

Two Club Sites to Serve Walker County Youth

During the school year, we offer after-school programs at two Club sites -- Scott Johnson Elementary (SJE) and Martin Luther King Recreation Center (MLK).  Our after-school programs serve up to 250 youth each day.

During the summer we offer a full-day summer camp that provides 100 children fun and growth-oriented activities all summer long.
